HLS, parade grounds of 8th Army CP with formation of Honor Guard and band. Sgt Ola L. Mize has picture taken by still cameramen. VS, Gen Maxwell D. Taylor greets the Sgt. (The Sgt is the seventieth man named to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor for the Korean Action.) The Sgt troops the line with Gen Taylor and company commander. Several scenes, color bearers roll up flags (case the colors), put them in canvas bags, walk to the vans in background. VS, Gen Taylor greets Sgt Mize, then they troop the line and take their places for the review. -- VS, Military band and Honor Guard march. VS, Gen L. McGarr, Adm Smith and unidentified officers salute. The officers troop the line, return to their reviewing positions, and salute the Honor Guard. Cut-in, troops pass in review. (Honor Guard is made up of all services.)

Maxwell Davenport Taylor (August 26, 1901 – April 19, 1987) was a senior United States Army officer and diplomat of the mid-20th century.[1] He served with distinction in World War II, most notably as commander of the 101st Airborne Division, nicknamed "The Screaming Eagles." After the war, he served as the fifth Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, having been appointed by President John F. Kennedy.
